Nagpur's Jennifer Varghese wins U-19 international gold

Nagpur's Jennifer Varghese won her first U-19 international gold medal at the WTT World Youth Contender in Havirov, Czech Republic. She defeated fellow Indian Taneesha Kotecha in a close final match. In addition to her U-19 success, Jennifer also secured a bronze medal in the U-17 category. She lost in the semifinals to Liu Ziling from China after defeating players from several countries earlier in the tournament. This victory marks a significant achievement for the 16-year-old, who previously won four international titles in the U-15 and U-17 categories.
