A new film, "Iroha," entirely shot in Nagasaki Prefecture, has been completed. Director Hatsuki Yokoo and his wife, actress Kumiko Endo, reported its completion in Unzen City. The movie, a road movie about a young woman finding self-acceptance, was filmed in November 2024 across four Nagasaki locations. Director Yokoo, a Sasebo native, aims to capture the warmth of Nagasaki's people and landscapes. "Iroha" will premiere in Sasebo and Nagasaki City on May 8, with a wider release on May 22. Endo praised Unzen's natural beauty and the welcoming atmosphere during filming.
