NADA creates secondary testing pool to bolster anti-doping efforts before Asiad and Commonwealth Games

NADA has established a Secondary Testing Pool to enhance anti-doping efforts before major sporting events. This new pool, comprising 48 athletes from five sports, operates under WADA regulations but without the strict one-hour notification requirement of the Registered Testing Pool. The initiative aims to improve India's anti-doping reputation and meet international standards, particularly for athletics, which has a high doping violation rate.
