Mysuru's Trin Trin public bicycle sharing program will soon introduce Gen Z e-cycles, offering pedal-assisted travel with extended range and speed. These new e-cycles, already launched in Ahmedabad, will have a 135 km range per charge and a top speed of 25 km/h. Smart cards will also be introduced for easier access, alongside cargo and child-friendly features. The current Trin Trin system saw over 50,000 users between January and May 2, 2025. Users are requesting expansion of docking stations beyond the city center to accommodate growing demand.
