Musk's super PAC spends $800,000 on tight Republican races

Elon Musk's super PAC, America PAC, has spent over $800,000 in recent days to support Republican candidates in tight races ahead of the November midterm elections, according to Federal Election Commission filings. The largest expenditure was $247,595 for Texas Senate candidate Ken Paxton, followed by $170,224 for Maine Senator Susan Collins and $105,675 for Ohio Senator Jon Husted. The PAC also funded campaign materials for several House Republicans, with all disclosed expenses going toward printing costs. America PAC, backed by a $50 million war chest from Musk, aims to raise up to $120 million for voter mobilization efforts. Democrats have criticized the spending, with one campaign accusing Musk of trying to "buy" a Senate seat for Republican John Sununu in New Hampshire.
