Musk's America PAC commits to active support for Republicans in midterm elections

Elon Musk announced that his political action committee, America PAC, will remain active in supporting Republican candidates through the midterm elections. This marks a shift from the typical practice of PACs going dormant after major elections. Musk stated that America PAC will focus on increasing Republican voter registrations in key districts. The committee previously spent around $200 million to support President-elect Donald Trump during the 2024 election cycle. America PAC has also held voter registration sweepstakes, with Musk offering $1 million daily to incentivize participation. A Pennsylvania judge ruled that these giveaways can continue, provided participants support certain constitutional amendments.
