Muskan confesses to murdering husband during divorce argument

Muskan Rastogi has confessed to murdering her husband, Saurabh, during a heated argument about their ongoing divorce. The couple had been in divorce proceedings since 2021. She admitted this during a police interrogation, revealing her relationship with co-accused Sahil Shukla. The argument escalated when Saurabh refused to grant the divorce, which Muskan had insisted on. She noted that Saurabh was aware of her feelings for Sahil. Following the murder, which involved dismembering Saurabh’s body, Muskan confessed to her parents, leading to her arrest. Sahil has changed his hairstyle in prison, cutting his hair short after asking for a barber visit. Both he and Muskan are currently held at Meerut Jail, where they have requested legal representation due to a lack of family support. Saurabh’s family is demanding justice and has called for the death penalty for both suspects. They are urging police to speed up the legal proceedings after Saurabh was killed when he returned home to celebrate his daughter's birthday.
