Municipality seeks 'civic grandparents' for school safety

The municipality is seeking volunteer organizations to provide "civic grandparents" to ensure student safety at school arrival and departure times this year. A public notice has been published to identify eligible associations. The project deploys elderly citizens outside local schools for security, social prevention, and community participation. Selected associations will sign agreements for the school year starting September 15, with reimbursement for documented expenses. Applications must be submitted by September 11. The notice lists nine schools, including Collodi, Romagnano, and Garibaldi. Each association must provide at least two retired or unemployed people per school.
