Mumbai customs have arrested six individuals, including two Thai women, for smuggling approximately 12 kilograms of marijuana valued at ₹26 crores from Bangkok. The arrests occurred at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. The two Thai women, Supatsara Sunawong and Rungnapa Munprakob, were found with 18 kilograms of hydroponic weed in their luggage. They claimed they were unaware of the contents. Additionally, two other suspects, Mohammed Shaikh and Saeeda Akhlaq Zari, were intercepted with 3.976 kilograms and 4 kilograms of ganja, respectively. All six individuals are now in judicial custody.
