MSRTC bus hits scooter, man dies in Mumbai

A 29-year-old man died and two others were injured when a state transport bus hit their scooter in Mumbai early Thursday. The accident occurred around 2:30 am on the Prabhadevi bridge as they were heading to a flower market. The deceased, Pranay Bodke, was traveling with friends Karan Shinde and Durvesh Gorde. Bodke died at the scene, while Shinde and Gorde were taken to a hospital with serious injuries. Police arrested the bus driver and have filed a case under relevant laws. The bus was part of the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation fleet and was en route to Pune.
