Mr. T Slams Netflix Documentary on His Life as 'Garbage'

Mr. T has publicly condemned the upcoming Netflix documentary about his life, calling it "garbage" and claiming it misrepresents him. The 74-year-old actor and former wrestler expressed his anger in a Guardian interview meant to promote the film. The documentary, "Untold Mr T: I Pity the Fool," focuses on aspects of his life and career that Mr. T says are wrong, including criticism from his former agent, Peter Young. He objected to the film's portrayal of his role in the 1993 film "Freaked" and the limited screen time given to his pastor, arguing the project has a "hidden agenda" to undercut his legacy. Mr. T, known for his philanthropy and advocacy work, said he told the director to exclude Young but was ignored. The documentary is scheduled for release on Sept. 8, and Mr. T said he had to restrain himself from confronting Netflix after seeing the final cut.
