Motorola's Moto Watch Ultra Leak Reveals LTE for Phone-Free Runs

Motorola's upcoming "Moto Watch Ultra" smartwatch may feature LTE connectivity, according to leaked renders, enabling it to operate independently of a smartphone for the first time since the company abandoned Wear OS in January. The watch reportedly has a 46mm stainless steel case, IP68 water resistance, 5ATM rating, and GPS, adding cellular support to its existing Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities. This could enhance Polar health features, allowing location sharing during runs without a phone. LTE typically reduces battery life, though the current Moto Watch lasts 13 days using a custom real-time operating system instead of Wear OS.
