Most US students use AI for coursework despite booing AI speakers at graduation

Despite publicly booing pro-AI speakers at graduations, most college students continue using AI for coursework, with over 80% having done so recently. A Kogod School of Business survey found regular AI use among business students rose from 6% to 29% in three years. Nearly a third use AI 11+ times weekly for school or work tasks. Students worry about academic integrity and independent thinking, even as employers increasingly ask about AI skills in interviews.
