Moscow court seizes over 600 million rubles in property from former Rostov region officials

A Moscow court seized over 600 million rubles worth of property from a former Rostov region official and his deputy. The court ruled in favor of the Prosecutor General's Office, confiscating 36 properties and 25 vehicles from Vladimir Okunev and Svetlana Shapovalova, citing unconfirmed income used to establish companies and acquire assets. The assets were allegedly acquired through illegal business activities and rigged state procurement contracts while Okunev and Shapovalova held leadership positions.
