Moscow airports restrict flights after drone attacks

Temporary flight restrictions were introduced at Moscow's Domodedovo, Vnukovo, and Zhukovsky airports to ensure flight safety, as announced by Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency. The restrictions follow Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin's statement that air defense forces destroyed ten drones approaching the capital. He reported that 548 drones were directed toward the Moscow region over the past day, with most intercepted far from the city and 143 shot down nearby. Earlier that morning, Moscow region Governor Andrei Vorobyov said drones attacked residential buildings in several settlements. The State Duma had previously discussed Ukraine's drone attack tactics.
