Mortal Kombat 1 is set to release its T-1000 DLC on March 18, featuring a new character intro with Peacemaker. In the clip, Peacemaker humorously recognizes the T-1000, referencing actor Robert Patrick's roles in both Terminator 2 and the Peacemaker series. NetherRealm Studios has shared gameplay footage and character intros leading up to the DLC launch. The T-1000 will join the game alongside Kameo character Madam Bo, with a wider release planned for March 25. Future content for Mortal Kombat 1 remains uncertain. While co-creator Ed Boon mentioned potential DLC, conflicting reports suggest that plans may have been canceled due to disappointing sales of the Khaos Reigns expansion.
