Moroccan schools struggle with perpetual reform efforts

Moroccan education reform efforts have consistently fallen short, transforming the school system from a promise of advancement into a daily burden for families, teachers, and students. Despite numerous reform initiatives like the National Charter and the framework law, learning outcomes remain poor, with structural issues and administrative burdens hindering progress. The article argues for a deeper educational renaissance, shifting focus from administrative changes to fostering critical thinking, teacher dignity, and genuine societal trust in public education.
