Moroccan immigrant arrested in Zaragoza for stabbing minor 18 times
A Moroccan immigrant was arrested in Zaragoza for allegedly stabbing a minor 18 times after the victim refused to give him a lighter. The suspect faces charges of attempted homicide. The attack occurred around 8 p.m. on September 5 on Calle Las Armas. The 36-year-old suspect, who has numerous prior police records, allegedly pursued the victim after a verbal dispute escalated, then fled the scene. The minor was treated at Miguel Servet University Hospital. Police identified and arrested the suspect on September 10. He was brought before the court the following day. The victim sustained wounds to the face, neck, scalp, back, and right arm, which investigators deemed severe enough to warrant the attempted homicide charge.
