Montpellier care assistant jailed for sexually assaulting five autistic adults

The suspect, who worked at a specialized facility, was charged on July 22 with sexual assaults on vulnerable persons by an authority figure. Colleagues flagged missing gloves during care and his habit of arriving early to give showers alone in a separate room. One victim's mother said she was not initially told of sexual assault allegations and only learned of them in late August. The investigation is expanding to other facilities in southern France where the man previously worked.
