Monsoon potholes plague Delhi roads from Mathura Road to Geeta Colony

A spot check found damaged stretches from east to south Delhi, including dusty, uneven patches near Apollo Hospital and a CNG station. A shopkeeper said water spills onto the carriageway even without rain due to the damage. Experts blame inadequate stormwater drains designed in 1978 for weakening bituminous roads, causing rutting and potholes. PWD officials say repairs are underway, while NHAI maintains Mathura Road.
