Moldova begins withdrawal from the Commonwealth of Independent States

Moldova has initiated its withdrawal from the Commonwealth of Independent States. The country's Foreign Minister stated that Moldova is beginning the process of denouncing key agreements that underpin its CIS membership, with parliamentary approval expected soon.
