Modi promotes India's investment opportunities at India-France CEOs Forum in Paris

He highlighted recent economic reforms aimed at improving the investment climate, including 100% foreign direct investment in the insurance sector. Modi emphasized the government's commitment to simplifying economic policies, mentioning a rationalized customs rate structure and a new income tax code. He noted that over 40,000 compliance requirements have been reduced to make India more business-friendly. The Prime Minister invited French companies to collaborate in technology and sustainable development, stating that now is the right time to invest in India. He was joined by French President Emmanuel Macron during the forum.
