Modi co-chairs AI summit in France and meets Macron to discuss technology and partnership

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has begun a three-day visit to France, where he will co-chair the AI Action Summit with President Emmanuel Macron. The summit will focus on the geopolitics of artificial intelligence and its regulation. During the visit, Modi will hold talks with Macron and address business leaders. The leaders will also visit the Mazargues War Cemetery in Marseille to honor Indian soldiers from World War I. This visit aims to strengthen the India-France strategic partnership, which has expanded from defense and energy to technology and innovation. The two countries will also launch the logo for the 2026 India-France Innovation Year.
