Mitchell Slaggert joins cast of Taylor Sheridan's Landman as teen quarterback Ryder Sampson

Mitchell Slaggert has joined the cast of Taylor Sheridan's new series, Landman, where he plays Ryder Sampson, a teen quarterback. This role marks his first appearance in the show, which premiered its seventh episode on December 22. Previously known for modeling for brands like Calvin Klein and Versace, Slaggert was scouted by the same agent who discovered Jennifer Lawrence. He has also acted alongside Sasha Pieterse from Pretty Little Liars. Slaggert, originally from Fayetteville, Georgia, had aspirations of becoming a US Marine but was unable to enlist due to a childhood accident. He is currently a mechanical engineering student at the University of North Carolina.
