Missing 74-year-old woman found deceased in Heraklion's Viannos region

A 74-year-old woman who went missing in Viannos, Heraklion, has been found deceased. She was discovered in a stream in a hard-to-reach area between Ano Symi and the mountainous region. The woman, who lived in Athens, was visiting Viannos for a relative's funeral and reportedly had health issues and was confused before disappearing. The cause of death will be determined by a forensic examination. Authorities and volunteers had been searching for her since she was last seen on Friday, July 3.
