Miss Grand International 2026 moves back to Thailand with revised schedule

The 2026 Miss Grand International pageant has been relocated from India back to Thailand just two weeks before delegates were scheduled to arrive, prompting organizers to release a revised schedule of events. Delegates will arrive Sept. 18-19, followed by a Bangkok tour, welcome ceremony, talent auditions, and city tours through late September. The swimsuit competition is set for Sept. 29, with the national costume and preliminary shows on Oct. 7, leading to the Grand Final on Oct. 10. The organization cited the Indian host committee's failure to meet agreed-upon five-star hospitality and production standards. Reigning queen Emma Tiglao will crown her successor, while Philippines' Angelica Lopez aims for a third consecutive national victory.
