Minshew signs with Chiefs after Raiders release
Gardner Minshew has signed a one-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs. He was released by the Las Vegas Raiders due to a failed physical after suffering a broken collarbone last season. Minshew, 28, started nine games for the Raiders last year, completing 66.3% of his passes. He has played in 59 games overall for several teams, including the Jaguars and Eagles. His arrival may signal that Carson Wentz will leave the Chiefs, where he was the backup quarterback in 2024.
