Ministry of Education authorizes semi-presential higher education courses

The Ministry of Education (MEC) has published a list of authorized semi-presential higher education courses, aiming to ensure transparency and combat fraudulent programs. The official list includes 456 courses across bachelor's, licenciatura, and technologist degrees, with specific annual enrollment quotas. These courses must conduct in-person activities at registered and approved locations. New regulations mandate that medicine, law, dentistry, nursing, and psychology degrees must be exclusively offered in person, with no distance or semi-presential options allowed for these fields.
