Minister orders faster completion of north Chennai construction projects

Minister P.K. Sekar Babu has ordered faster completion of construction projects in north Chennai. This follows his inspection of several developments under the North Chennai Development Scheme on January 11, 2025. The projects include residential buildings on Madhavaram High Road and Paper Mills Road, totaling over ₹48 crore. The minister directed engineers and contractors to expedite their work. Babu also visited the Thiru-Vi-Ka Nagar bus terminus, which is under construction for ₹6 crore. He instructed officials to speed up this project as well.
