Minister highlights homeopathy's role at international conference in Kerala
Thiruvananthapuram's Finance Minister K N Balagopal opened a two-day international conference for the Institution of Homoeopaths Kerala. He highlighted homeopathy's significance in treatment and called for more research, noting personal benefits he experienced. Balagopal mentioned the existence of around 1,200 government homeopathy clinics in Kerala, with treatment centers in every panchayat. He acknowledged the criticism faced by homeopathy supporters, including himself during the Covid pandemic. The conference also honored Dr Ravi M Nair and awarded Kulasekharam Sarada Krishna Homeo College for excellence. Animal Husbandry Minister J Chinchurani will lead the second day's session, with M Vincent MLA closing the event.
