Resin in Minecraft is a decorative item found in the Pale Garden biome, primarily used for aesthetic building enhancements and armor customization. Obtained from Creaking Hearts, resin clumps can be used as decorative elements or combined into resin blocks for crafting Creaking Hearts or simulating other blocks. Smelting resin clumps yields resin bricks, offering vibrant color for builds and armor trims. Resin was introduced with the Garden Awakens update, which also added the Pale Garden biome, Creaking mob, Creaking Heart, and Eyeblossom flower, aiming for a creepy atmosphere.
