Microsoft resolves Entra ID authentication issue caused by DNS change

Microsoft has resolved a DNS authentication issue affecting Entra ID services. The problem occurred due to a recent DNS change that disrupted access to Azure services from 17:18 to 18:35 UTC on February 25, 2025. The issue stemmed from the removal of a domain used in the authentication process for Microsoft Entra ID's seamless single sign-on feature. Microsoft has reverted the change, and services are now fully operational. This incident follows previous DNS-related outages, including a global email delivery failure in August 2023 and a significant service disruption in April 2021. Microsoft continues to address connectivity issues across its Azure services.
