Microsoft launches open-source multi-agent AI system Magnetic-One

Microsoft has launched an open-source multi-agent AI system named Magnetic-One. This system features a lead agent called the Orchestrator, which coordinates four additional agents to tackle complex tasks like online shopping and document editing. The Orchestrator can plan and adjust tasks dynamically, allowing for more flexibility than traditional single-agent systems. This multi-agent framework can add or remove agents while others continue their work. Additionally, Microsoft introduced AutoGenBench, a tool to assess the performance of these AI agents.
