Microsoft Edge tests Apple Account sign-in on Windows and macOS

Microsoft Edge is testing the ability for users to sign in with an Apple Account, with new flags added to its Canary build and the feature rolling out to Beta users on Windows and macOS. The new flags include an Apple sign-in button on the profile menu and a separate option to enable Apple sign-in for Edge profiles, similar to the existing Google Account sign-in feature. Microsoft’s release notes for Edge Beta version 152 confirm the feature is in a controlled rollout, meaning it may not be available to all users yet. Once fully live, Apple users can sign in to an Edge profile with their existing Apple Account instead of creating or using a Microsoft Account. The feature is currently limited to Windows and macOS platforms.
