Michigan sees significant snowfall with some areas receiving over 7 inches

Michigan experienced significant snowfall from a recent weather system, with some areas near Lake Michigan receiving over 7 inches. Holland reported the highest total at 7.4 inches, while nearby Scottville and Muskegon saw more than 5 inches. Other regions reported lower totals, with Newaygo and Paw Paw receiving around 4 inches. Lansing, Kalamazoo, and parts of Oakland and Macomb counties saw just over 2 inches, while Saginaw and Bay City reported 2.5 inches. Temperatures are expected to remain mild today and into Sunday. However, an Arctic blast is forecasted to arrive early next week, bringing much colder temperatures.
