Mexican milk brands meet quality standards

Profeco found that most ultrapasteurized milk products in Mexico meet protein, fat, and labeling standards. The study analyzed 85 products, including whole, skim, and lactose-free options, confirming compliance with official Mexican regulations for composition and nutritional value. Brands like Alpura, Lala, Sello Rojo, and Santa Clara were highlighted for meeting these requirements, though one product, "Lacti Lac," was flagged for potentially misleading labeling.
