Melanie Sykes fronts first modelling campaign in Manchester since shaving her head

Melanie Sykes has landed her first major modelling campaign since shaving her head, fronting eyewear brand Cubitts after publicly discussing her alopecia diagnosis. The 55-year-old TV presenter poses in Manchester locations for the campaign, shot by Niall Hodson. Sykes has said she is “two-thirds bald” and lives with an autoimmune condition causing hair loss and inflammation. Sykes first disclosed alopecia last year and later developed an irregular heartbeat, attributing worsening health to stress surrounding public allegations involving TV chef Gino D’Acampo.
