Meikiko launches 1000kg mobile step lift, doubling capacity for logistics

Meikiko has launched the "Mobile Step Elimination Lift Danraku~da II," a movable lift with a maximum load capacity of 1000kg, double that of previous models, and a lifting height of 1500mm. The product will be exhibited at International Logistics Exhibition 2026. The lift uses a roller chain four-point suspension mechanism instead of hydraulics, preventing natural descent during prolonged stops. Its ultra-low floor design, with a collapsed height of 33mm, allows smooth boarding for carts carrying over 500kg, and it rises 1.5 meters in about 14 seconds. The company developed the product in response to demand for handling heavier carts, following over 170 units sold of the original series by December 2025. The lift features automatic stop functions, interlocked safety bars, and movable casters, targeting logistics warehouses, distribution centers, and retail sectors.
