Meade High School student indicted on attempted murder charges after bathroom stabbing
A Meade High School student, JaQuan Ky'lee Guy, was indicted on attempted murder and conspiracy charges after a stabbing incident on January 23. His charges increased from initial counts to include reckless endangerment and weapon offenses. The stabbing occurred in a school bathroom, injuring a 17-year-old student. The victim was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries but has since been released. Both Guy and a 14-year-old suspect were arrested shortly after the incident. Surveillance footage helped identify the suspects, who were seen leaving the school after the attack. The second suspect's identity remains confidential due to juvenile privacy laws. An attorney has not yet been assigned to represent Guy.
