McLaren W1 hypercar completes F1-P1 trilogy with extreme aero and hybrid V8

McLaren has unveiled its new W1 hypercar, the fastest road car yet, completing the F1-P1 trilogy with extreme aerodynamics and a powerful hybrid V8 engine. The limited-edition W1, with only 399 units produced, features advanced F1-inspired ground-effect aerodynamics, an Active Long Tail rear wing, and anhedral doors for optimized airflow. This hypercar boasts a new MHP-8 hybrid powertrain producing 1275PS, achieving 0-300km/h in under 12.7 seconds, and is lighter than the McLaren P1.
