McIntosh launches premium speakers to celebrate Grateful Dead's 60th anniversary
McIntosh has launched new home speakers in collaboration with the Grateful Dead to celebrate the band's 60th anniversary. The RS150 and RS250 models are designed for streaming music and reflect the band's legacy of high-quality sound. The RS150 is priced at $1,500, while the RS250 costs $3,500. These speakers will also be showcased at the Sphere gift shop in Las Vegas during Dead & Company’s residency. This release continues McIntosh's partnership with the Grateful Dead, honoring their innovative "Wall of Sound" system from 1974, which provided clear audio at concerts. The new speakers aim to deliver similar sound quality in a more accessible format.
