McDonald's rebrands restaurants as "McDavid's" honoring Connor McDavid

McDonald’s Canada has rebranded a restaurant in Edmonton and one in Newmarket, Ontario, as "McDavid’s" to honor Connor McDavid after his winning goal at the 4 Nations Face-Off. This temporary change celebrates his recent success. The rebranding follows a previous promise made by McDonald’s during the Oilers' playoff run last summer. Although the Oilers did not win the Stanley Cup, McDavid's performance for Team Canada led to this tribute. The McDavid’s locations will feature new signage and a special burger called the Big Mac-David, available for a limited time. Customers can also enjoy a small order of fries for $0.97 this weekend.
