M.C. Road repairs continue Sunday with traffic restrictions from Kozha to Kuruvilangad

Repairs on the M.C. Road from Kozha Science City to Kuruvilangad town have begun, but heavy rain on Saturday evening prevented completion of the planned work. Officials announced that repair work will continue on Sunday, with partial traffic restrictions remaining in place. The Public Works Department is carrying out retarring and other repairs on the most damaged sections. Work has been completed at Kozha Science City, Vattamkuzhi, and Block Kavala. The target for Saturday was to finish the stretch from Kozha to Kuruvilangad Pallikkavala, but this was not achieved. Due to the ongoing construction, traffic is partially restricted on Sunday from Kozha to Kuruvilangad Pallikkavala. Large vehicles, including KSRTC buses from Muvattupuzha, are being diverted via Kurianad, Poothinkal, Uzhavoor, and Kidangoor towards Kottayam, while smaller vehicles are using alternative routes.
