Tropical Depression Maymay and the southwest monsoon dumped heavy rainfall across Luzon, with Zambales and Benguet recording over 150 millimeters in 24 hours, raising flood and landslide risks. PAGASA measured 158.6mm in Iba, Zambales, the highest total, followed by Baguio City at 158mm. Rainfall of 100-200mm daily is classified as heavy to intense. Maymay exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility Friday morning. Typhoon Dolphin, located 915 kilometers northeast of extreme Northern Luzon, will keep enhancing the monsoon through the weekend. PAGASA warned of moderate to intense rains across western Luzon, Metro Manila, and nearby provinces.
