Massachusetts man died in apparent Lynnfield homicide

A 55-year-old man, Timothy O'Neil, was found dead in his Lynnfield, Massachusetts home Friday night in what appears to be a homicide. Police responded to a 911 call on Lookout Terrace around 8:30 p.m. and discovered O'Neil with "apparent trauma," leading to his death at the scene. Authorities have stated there is no wider threat to the public. The Essex County District Attorney’s Office, the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office, and Lynnfield police are investigating the death.
