The car mounted a footpath, throwing one attacker into the air; he clung to the bonnet before falling off. Residents’ cars were damaged, and locals suspect drug-related violence. Politicians called it shocking and said it was miraculous no pedestrians were hit. The area is normally quiet, but residents said the incident felt like a gangster movie and followed a petrol bomb attack in the suburb earlier this year. Gardaí were contacted for comment.
