Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has become the third-richest person in the world, surpassing Amazon's Jeff Bezos. Zuckerberg's wealth growth coincides with a strong performance in Meta shares, which have surged over 72 percent in 2024. The stock closed at $595.94 on Friday, up from $567.15 at the start of the week. Elon Musk remains the richest person with $264 billion, while Larry Ellison is just behind Zuckerberg with a net worth of $203.9 billion. Other tech leaders, like Nvidia's Jensen Huang, have also seen significant increases in their wealth this year.
