Marie Dellenbach, a Colmar resident with a neuroatypical condition and a chronic illness, has found solace in playing the guitar, which she says helps her cope with her debilitating symptoms. Dellenbach suffers from myalgic encephalomyelitis, a post-infectious disease that disables her by over 80 percent, and also has attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Despite severe fatigue, pain, and nausea on bad days, she insists chronic illness does not prevent pursuing one's passions.
