Manuel Turizo releases '201' album celebrating his Caribbean roots

Manuel Turizo has released his fourth album, "201," which reflects his Caribbean roots and upbringing in Montería, Colombia. The album features tropical Latin sounds and urban rhythms, aiming to capture the essence of lively backyard parties. Unlike his previous hit "La Bachata," which gained nearly 2 billion streams, "201" explores a variety of musical styles, including vallenato and rock. The album includes collaborations with notable artists like Kapo, Elder Dayán Diaz, and Yandel. Turizo's new work emphasizes personal experiences and cultural influences, inviting listeners to connect with the music. He plans to perform at Calibash on January 18, but no tour is currently scheduled.
