Manresa father killed after being chased and stabbed by migrant minors
Carles Vilajosana, a 45-year-old father of two, was chased and harassed for about one kilometer before being fatally stabbed by unaccompanied migrant minors in Manresa. Two suspects, aged 15 and 16, have been arrested so far. The attack occurred during Manresa's Fiesta Mayor after Vilajosana intervened in a fight involving the minors. Witnesses say he was followed before the stabbing, and emergency services could not save him. The prosecutor has requested closed detention for both arrested youths. Authorities are seeking two or three other suspects linked to the incident. One detainee was already awaiting trial for a previous attempted homicide involving a waiter stabbed with a screwdriver. The investigation remains open to determine each suspect's role.
